2. What this website does
This is an informational brand website. Wakey ApS does not sell products or conclude consumer contracts through this website. Links to retailers and social platforms take you to independent third-party websites.
3. Data processed when you visit
The website is hosted by Vercel Inc. When a page is delivered, Vercel processes technical connection data such as your IP address, request date and time, requested URL, referrer, browser and device information, and error or security events. Fonts and images are served from our own domain; your browser does not connect to Google Fonts.
- Purpose
- Delivering the website, maintaining reliability, preventing misuse and investigating technical or security incidents.
- Legal basis
- Our legitimate interests in operating a secure and reliable informational website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Retention
- Technical logs are retained only for the period reasonably necessary for operations and security, then deleted or anonymised unless a longer period is required to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
4. Spam protection on forms
Our contact and newsletter forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, provided by Cloudflare, Inc., to check that a form is sent by a person and not an automated program. When a form page loads, your browser connects to Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as your IP address and browser and device characteristics to make this check. We only receive the result.
- Purpose
- Protecting our forms and inboxes against spam and abuse.
- Legal basis
- Our legitimate interest in keeping the forms secure and usable (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
More information: Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
5. Cookies and browser storage
We use necessary storage to remember your privacy choice. Functional storage for the optional Power Nap experience and analytics storage are used only if you choose the relevant category. We do not currently use an analytics service.
Wake-Up Call, our daily game, runs entirely in your browser and does not track you. Your game progress, your daily tries and your confirmation that you are 18 or over are saved only in your browser. Nothing from the game is sent to us or to anyone else. The ranking it shows is an estimate based on typical results, not a comparison with other players.
See the Cookie Policy for the current storage list and instructions for changing your choice.
6. When you contact us
If you contact us using the contact form, by email or by telephone, we process the information you provide, such as your name, email address, the type of inquiry, your message, organisation and later correspondence, to answer and manage your request. Messages sent through the contact form are delivered to our inbox by our email service provider Brevo, together with the language version of the website you used. Our mailbox is hosted by Simply.com in Denmark.
- Legal basis
- Steps requested before entering a contract where relevant (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), or our legitimate interest in responding to inquiries and managing business relationships (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Retention
- We delete or anonymise correspondence when the inquiry is resolved and no longer reasonably needed, unless accounting, legal-claim or other statutory retention obligations require longer storage.
8. Recipients and international transfers
Personal data may be shared only as necessary with hosting, infrastructure, security, communications and professional-advisory providers acting for us, or with public authorities where required by law. Providers acting as processors must be bound by data-processing terms.
- Vercel Inc., USA: website hosting
- Cloudflare, Inc., USA: spam protection on forms
- Brevo SAS, France: contact-form delivery and newsletter
- Simply.com, Denmark: email hosting
Vercel and Cloudflare are based in the USA. Transfers to them are based on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, or on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses in our data processing agreements, together with supplementary measures where required.
9. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to access, correct, erase or restrict your personal data; object to processing based on legitimate interests; receive data you provided in a portable format; and withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right not to be subject to solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. Wakey does not currently use such decision-making on this website.
To exercise a right, contact info@wakeypouches.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
10. Complaints
You may complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet) or to the supervisory authority in the EU/EEA country where you live or work. We would appreciate the opportunity to address your concern first.
11. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy before introducing a new form, newsletter provider, analytics service or other material processing activity. The date above shows the latest revision.
